A Message From Controller and Assistant Vice Chancellor Michael Riley
Dear Colleagues,
Business and Financial Services (BFS) is pleased to announce the launch of our newly re-organized and updated website.
We have updated and arranged the website to reflect the needs of our stakeholders. The revamped site provides the most relevant information, resources and guidelines based on the different type of users and stakeholders BFS regularly interacts with and serves.
Each section includes the most relevant system applications, transaction forms, guidelines, policies and procedures, along with the frequently asked questions BFS typically receives. Each section of our website is tailored for a variety of users including:
- Employees (including student workers);
- Students and parents;
- Departmental and managers, supervisors and administrators; and
- External/Third-Party users who wish to do business with UC Merced.
With the launch of our updated website, the following legacy websites will be deactivated by mid-August:
- Campus Cashiering Services
- Central Payroll Services
- Tax Services
- Procurement Services
- Financial Management and Controls
- Costing and Policy
- Travel Services
- Accounting Services
- Equipment Management
Please note: the Student Business Services website will remain active through the summer but will be deactivated later in the fall semester.
We invite and encourage you to familiarize yourselves with BFS’s new website. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Thank you,
Michael Riley
Controller and Assistant Vice Chancellor, Business and Financial Services
